After reading several posts about people having sore throats, colds and flues I decided to share a real immune system boost that also speeds up your metabolism which can help your body to get rid of whatever its hosting 🙂
In one of my previous juice posts a reader wrote that she prefers smoothie to keep all the goodies lost in a juice extractor. And I agree. I also wanted to save all the fibres in the fruits and vegetables, so I use a very strong blender instead. To get a juice instead of a smoothie I add a little water. This has been a success!
Here’s todays recipe:
3 sticks of cellery (or 2 big)
2 handfulls of red chard sprouts
1 piece of ginger (about a teaspoon. More if you like that ginger kick!)
