Your help to sustainable health and redesigning your body
In my post “Ease into a healthier 2013” I gave a few examples of ways to create a healthier life for your self. One of the examples was using spices to boost your metabolism. Today I will show you a super easy soup which is both nutritional and has two of the spices mentioned.
My “Nu fuss carrot soup” (time to cook: about 20 minutes)
Carrots 1 kg
Potatoes 4 medium large
Chili, 1 whole.
Stock 1 liter (Chicken, fish or vegetable depending on what you prefere. I use chicken stock.)
Ginger, a piece about the size of a lime. This will give a quite potent taste of the ginger. Adjust according to taste.
Lime, juice from 1-1 1/2
1 Peel and chop the carrots and the potatoes.
2 Chop the chili and the ginger
3 Pop it all in a big pot with the stock. Bring to a boil and the boil it until all the vegetables are soft.
4 Mix the it to a soup.
5 Add the juice from the lime.
If the soup is too thick, add some boiled water.
