Your help to sustainable health and redesigning your body
Today I read a blog post at Embrace wellness now reminded me of the importance of inspiration. I know I’ve been talking about it quite often too, but reading her post made me think of one particular TEDtalk that made me both laugh and cry and reminded me that everything is possible. Something I have needed lately.
2012 was one of my more challenging years so far. So many great things happened, but also tough realisations about my self. I was forced to face my self and all my self-limitations and my fear of success. After trying to fight to reach my full potential, but without dealing with my fears I finally hit a point when I finally got sick. I had, as it’s called in Swedish, “hit the wall”. Only it wasn’t primarily my body that had crumbled, but my brain.
Although I have gone through tough changes and become a lot more stable and honest about my self, I have still not managed to rid myself completely of my fear of success. That fear has made me go through life in a high speed gear, but with the hand break firmly pulled. Something which is a sure way to deplete your system completely sooner rather than later.
It has taken me three months to get back to blogging, and still my brain works a lot slower and needs a lot more rest than it does normally. And working full time is still not an option. I am recovering and have learned to actually cherish this time to reflect and regain my inner balance.
So, as I’m now getting back in the blogging saddle so to speak, I’m also going back to basic. Great nutrition, a lot of exercise, lots of loving friends and family, etc. And last, but not least. Lots of inspiring texts, music, and TEDtalks.
So, as part of my third post in the Ultimate blog challenge I give you Caroline Casey – Looking past limits. Enjoy!
